A guinea pig needs

To be with other guinea pigs
Fresh food and fresh clean water every day and something to gnaw on
A big hutch to live in, with a room for sleeping
A home to be kept clean and tidy
To be brushed every day if it has long hair
Soft straw and wood shavings for beddings
A mixture of hay, cereal and washed fruit and fresh vegetables
A hutch to be kept somewhere inside when it is cold, and in the shade when it is hot and sunny
To be looked after at holiday times
To be handled with care
